Ever fancied being on stage? We’re putting together a far less intimidating version at our table read on 11 May. Sign up to be part of a rotating ensemble of readers, bringing scripts to life! Never tried it before? It's totally okay if you’ve only just dreamt about it. We’ll kick things off with a brief warm-up and character orientation to get everyone into the groove. Besharam Ka Paudha
By Rajesh Nirmal
#performance #theatre #interactive #hindi #english

With biting satire and an immersive approach to storytelling, Rajesh creates an experience that balances seriousness with levity, drawing us in to examine our own lives and question the role of caste. Much like the stubborn plant (besharam ka paudha), he unapologetically shares his life experiences on stage with the same intensity that society attempts to conceal and suppress such lives and realities. Through the use of anecdotes, interactive elements, and props, Rajesh effectively prompts us to reflect on the realities of our society.
